This short sequence covers some refinements for improving footwork efficiency and release mechanics when executing a baseline inside reverse attack to the weak side. Key teaching points are a two-step finish..45 degree shot line to the backboard during exit step..and, a ball spin toward the rim off the backboard.

This finishing move is extremely effective in providing ball protection during the rim attack as the ball is on the baseline side of the body (away from basket defenders) until the very last moment of the finish.

Proper shot line angle significantly contributes to scoring consistency. The dribble dance is just to keep it interesting and add some ball handling confidence.
