I admire Brian’s work and approach to the sport. I’m a middle school boys basketball coach looking for some (non-traditional) pre-season (without a ball) and in season conditioning ideas. I would like to hit on physiological and the coordination perspective as it relates to basketball specifically.
Gymnastics. Juggling. Wrestling. Those are my initial thoughts for coordination. For conditioning, I like tag. With middle school boys, I would not do too much traditional conditioning, as with a varsity or college team.
