It was love at first sight: Captivated by its innovative approach and great attention to detail, she dedicated her life to mastering the I’m Possible method’s techniques, despite her limited proficiency in English at the time. For the following four years, Gea delved into refining her skills, fueled by a burning desire to fulfill her American dream.

Opportunity knocked in July 2016, when Gea had the chance to showcase her talents to the women’s basketball team from Augustana College during their visit to Italy. Impressed by her skill and work ethic, the team’s coach facilitated connections that ultimately led to Gea’s enrollment at Black Hawk College in Moline, Illinois, in 2017.
